Wow, I can't believe you read the whole thing that quickly. Is her prose just easy to process? (I read Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising in a single session. Exhausting, but fun.)
Part of the charm of her series is that she is easy to read, and yet the complexities of the work start sneaking back up on you and then you realize you gotta go back to read again just to make sure why you didn't see it in the first place. And even then the wit and charm of it keeps you won over. I just finished myself. I had the excuse of having to work at my library today complete with an early morning Harry Potter party. All day, Harry Potter and nothing but. Can you believe we've still got copies on our Reserve shelf? One person called back in to ask us to keep it a week for him 'cause he's got other priorities. Aw geez then why did ye request it in the first place?! Library patrons, sometimes you gotta love 'em, sometimes you wonder why they even bothered getting the free card. Sigh. There were other things too about today regarding work that makes this all bittersweet, but still. Let's keep it all on Harry, it's his big day and all. I'll let MaryAnn establish the rules for discussing the book later. For now, I need to eat some leftover chocolate wands...
book must have been mindblowing, haven't heard from her all Sunday...
