As a counter to the cinematic assault of videogame-turned-movie Doom, hitting theaters this weekend, something a little more sedate. Can board games be geeks, dorks, and nerds? Of course they can.

Hmm, well... I really don't know what that third board game is under "nerd" but personally, I think it ought to be chess and "geek" should've gotten Settlers of Catan.
The third game is Trivial Pursuit. And while chess *players* may be nerds, chess *itself* is definitley geeky.
Actually I've been known to play both chess and Risk. (Though not at the same time, of course.) I wonder what that makes me...
