There is no god...

| | comments (7)

The comments on this post have rather devolved into a "my god is better than your atheism" tedium, so I just have to share this awesome little graphic:

Ting2

My too-cool brother Ken, who is also "unrelenting in his atheism," sent me this, which appeared in some comment thread on Fark.

Geeks are so clever.

I liked in "What the Bleep Do We Know?" where one of the talking heads implied that each one of us is "god" ... I suppose that would still make me an atheist in regard to group/clan gods, which I find ridiculous.
Now, now, Kelly...Be nice.
If there is no God, why exactly are those two folks on the poster whispering? Don't they read the New York Times? They proclaimed God to be dead, ya know....
The Times also said there were WMDs in Iraq... And that *One-Man Star Wars* is dumb. Both of which prove how little they know. (The whisper isn't so that God doesn't hear -- he hears and sees you all the time, even in the bathroom. It's because without the controlling power of superstition, a lot of rich and powerful men would be seen to be naked.)
Unrelenting open mindedness is better than unrelenting atheism.
So, MaryAnn, how do you feel about the XTC song "Dear God"? One would think that tune would be a popular song in your place of residence. Or are you more a Depeche Mode type of person?
