Mal, Wash, Jayne.

I’ve just wrapped up my episode-by-episode look at Firefly, and my review of Serenity is now live.

I haven't watched Firefly yet, but this is just one more incentive to do so. Right now I'm in the middle of rewatching the entire Babylon 5 run for the fourth or fifth time, though, so it may take some time to get to.
With only 14 episodes of *Firefly,* watching the whole series four or five times won't be anywhere near as intensive.
What does it say about me that I self-identify with Wash? Ummm, yeah, don't answer that. ;-)
Wash is awesome. Who wouldn't want to identify with Wash?
He is a leaf on the wind.
Damn you! You damned! dirty! enabler! Mr Oro and myself have now put the newly purchased (as of yersterday) Firefly box set in an out of the way location, so as not to be tempted into watching every single episode today. I mean, Serenity 1+2, The Train Job, and Bushwhacked are enough for one day. Right? Right? Thank goodness I waited until now to watch it. I was so distraught over the last season of the X Files that I vowed never to fall in love with a tv show again, and had I watched Firefly then I would have detested it for its good production values and smart writing, when my beloved XF had turned into the exact opposite. Envy is a terrible thing to behold. Seriously, though, I am happy, nay, ecstatic, to be find a show worth viewing repeatedly, one that was as high in quality as early XF, Odyssey 5, Babylon 5, and Farscape.
Of course I meant to write '...to find a show...'
