What's your high-school stereotype?

| | comments (7)

Turns out I'm 81 percent Loner, 69 percent Geek. Sounds about right, even almost twenty years later. High school never really ends, does it?

Yes, 79% Loner, 69% Drama nerd, 56% Geek, 44% Goth, with a smattering of Stoner (WHAT?!?!), Punk/Rebel and Ghetto gangsta (again, WHAT?!?!). Note: 0% Prep/Jock/Cheerleader. And those are the types putting together our reunion this year; go figure none of my friends and I want to attend! Send me and 9 of my closest friends to a Mexican restaurant of questionable cleanliness and feed me a few frozen margaritas the size of my head and you've got one happy chick.
My top 3 were 90% Loner, 50% Geek, and the real WTF??? of 54% Goth. Though I don't think Goths even existed in the mid-'80s, so maybe I was an unwitting proto-Goth with a submerged desire to wear black eyeliner and lipstick at the time?
Here's my top five run-down: Geek: 63%,Drama Nerd %55, Punk Rebel % 44, Loner %31, Goth %19. What's really amusing is that I tied Ghetto Gangsta (13%) and Stoner (13%). Okay. Whatever. But it's good to confirm, I guess, that I'm a Geek, and that - at least somewhere - I've got some rebel in me. A geek rebel?
100% Loner, 69% Goth, 50% Drama Nerd - eh?! Most bizarrely, I'm only 31% Geek. And 25% Ghetto/Gangsta. I have few goth tendencies and I am not into drama, so..eh??
I'm a loner. Official score: 100% loner (that explains all the time I spent reading "The Loner's Manifesto" earlier this year), 69% geek (I guess that beats being a nerd), 38% goth (that explains all the Tim Burton movies in my video/DVD collection), 31% stoner (wtf? All that time I spent just saying "no" for nothing?), 25% punk (?!), 19% ghetto gangsta (?!), 19% drama nerd, 0% prep/jock/cheerleader (well, at least that last part makes sense).
88% Loner, 69% Drama nerd. That fits me pretty damn well.
I'm pretty evenly spaced out: Loner 56%; Drama nerd 50%; Ghetto gangsta 31% (WTF?); Geek 31%; Goth 25%; Prep/Jock/Cheerleader 19%; Punk/Rebel 19%; Stoner 6%. Perhaps you or the quiz-maker should have a few definitions, like you did for geek/dork/nerd. Like, is being a loner being alone, or just wanting to be alone? And I've heard so many different definitions of "Goth" that just about every Goth I have ever seen, met, or heard of is a poser.
